Enhance your well being through yoga and an artist's touch. Lennox Head Yoga classes are with Annushka, also known as the artist, Anna Niblic Heggie. The name Annushka means loving grace and is a dedication to her late father.
Mindful Yoga with Anna (Annushka) provides a great way to experience a deeper process of Yoga that brings harmony to body, mind and spirit that is not just an exercise routine. Yoga taught in the classical sense and in respect of Patanjali and The Yoga Sutras, Mindful Yoga classes with Anna works on the deeper levels of connecting the breath with the body in Pranayama and in the yoga asanas for my focus. Balance and harmony are the key words in Mindful Yoga to bring you to a place of greater self-worthiness, love and compassion. Yoga will:-
- improve flexiblility and tone up muscles
- improve powers of observation and mental focus
- stretch and strengthen
- breathe more effectively
- Build self-reliance and self-confidence
In general Annushka's Mindful Yoga classes are slow yet powerful, strengthening, build flexiblity and deeper awareness. A point of difference is awaiting your discovery in Annushka's deeply relaxing, guided visualisations in savasana (lying down relaxation). We engage the mind with body to syncronise with the breath. For men and women of all ages.
Visualisations, affirmations, sound and music can all play an important role in bringing the mind, body and spirit into harmony. Meditation is also engaged in some Classes and Workshops.

Breathe, Stretch and Move into Balance and Harmony.
The physical, emotional, mental and spiritual are all embraced in the traditional path of yoga. Annushka is dedicated to helping others to find their inner peace that leads eventually to a state of transformation, growth, healing and renewal.
Yoga asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises), Pratyahara (turning the senses inwards) Dharana (concentration) and Dhyana (meditation) are encompassed along with other energetic techniques aimed at improving health and wellbeing. We move slowly and connect the breath with movement. Savasana lying down relaxation with guided visualisation.
The Lennox Head Yoga Studio is bright and airy with glimpses of the ocean surrounded by sub-tropical greenery. Filtered sunlight through bamboo frames one wall.
Mats and yoga props are supplied, but you are welcome to bring your own. Allow at least one hour, preferably two between eating and doing a yoga class. Try to arrive on time and make sure mobile phones are off.
