What can I expect in a private session?
Private Sessions can be tailored to suit your needs. Non-judgemental and supportive, these sessions may include Yoga Asanas and Savasana (lying down relaxation); Pranayama (breathing techniques) or yoga as therapy.
You may like to utilise the benefits of Yoga Arts Fusion which may include Guided Visualisations; Meditation; Journal making with art and writing; therapeutic art including painting, drawing, clay and other media; Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation with the use of affirmation); Tai chi style movements to music and mantra chanting with the breath.
Essentially, you can choose the type of session you require or would like to try or discuss some the options beforehand for a mix and match of techniques to suit you.
Private Yoga Sessions can be beneficial for those who simply want to increase their physical flexibility and strength building and would like extra training, technique correction or a better means of releasing tension and improved sleep. Others may require an adjunctive therapy to their medical management. Yoga, Creative Arts and Meditation have all been successfully used in treating anxiety and depression, negative states of mind or assistance with changing addictive patterns. Asthma has been helped through Yoga Pranayama techniques where as a de-stressing and calming therapy can be restorative as well as helping to prevent some disorders taking place or worsening.
A private session for one hour is $88 for the first session discounted to $66 per session if booking 3 or more sessions.
A two hour private session is $120 for the first session discounted to $90 per session if booking 3 or more sessions.
